heres what i have to say: the good artists, the artists that deserve to make a living off music, will make plenty on tour sales, etc. the ones that suck, who suck so much that they cant make money off a tour cuz they suck live, deserve to not make money. this stuff doesnt hurt dmb at all. it doesnt hurt coldplay at all. the people it hurts are the people who suck

blah blah.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

how does a site such as this one hurt Dave Matthews or his band in anyway? unless we're talking about potential musical competition through learning how to play guitar for free as apposed to a price , i dont think a lack in tableture book sales is really going to affect Dave, or any other band on the same "level" as him that's producing books like that.

Even if it goes so far as to make people pay for tabs and what not, there will always be a way around it. Downloading music is supposedly illegal now but I still do it.

It's obvious that bands don't care too. I can name a number of artists who give tab on their site. Seems like they're really torn up over it.
