broke a string g string
I just broke my very first string. I was playing Stay and all of sudden the G string just broke at the bridge. Is that bad that it broke at the bridge? Also, when I get new strings should I just replace the G or should I replace all of them? These strings are 2 weeks old and I play about 1-2 hrs almost everyday sometimes more than2 hrs. Thanks for the help.
The bridge is where most of my strings break. If you think about it, that is where the major stress point is...at the saddle (bridge). I would replace all the strings at one time....only because I would want that nice bright sound from all the strings.

Its not bad to break at the bridge or the nut. But it becomes bad whenever it keeps breaking for no reason at all. If they have been on there for two weeks then it seems logical that it was just the strings time to break. As for changing them all, it depends on personal preference. I change all of my strings every week or two, just for a better sound. But when i first started playing I would just leave them on until they broke and replace each one individually. Its all up to you.

NOOOOOOOOOOO! It's the end of the world!
Hehe, just get some new strings. I recommend experimenting a bit with different kinds of strings. Find the ones you like the best. Like the last guy said, if you get breaks REALLY often, then you need to start considering getting it looked at.

the vaginal fluid they are secreting is the same composition of urine minus the uric acid and phosphorous. i learned that in 11th grade anatomy. btw, sometimes it does have a FAINT smell of Pizzle.
