So that I can feel the rain

Unread post by Ranting Thespian » Fri Sep 26, 2003 10:40 pm

I decided to just do a quick recording and do Gravedigger. The vocals someitmes turn down, I have to adjust my mixer still, but should be good quality. I love getting loud at the end (don't worry, no screaming death metal ;) ).

i like the muted intro, kinda cool. what are you saying? lol. guitar is good. right on, great rhythm. i like how youre singing it, kinda made it your own even though its a cover. y

ou ahve a good voice, this is on of the first times ive heard your real voice. again, your pronunciation of words makes it sound like you've been trained and you overpronounce. (i know ive said that before) try to be a little more natural if you ask me, looser (not loser) but more loose. here comes the octive jump.....great job.

still on key, that's the hard part. a great example of what i was talking about was the word "rain" right after the octive jump. great voice, you're hitting everything. the word "grave" is another example, be more natural. ok conclusion. great job, you made the song your own. stayed on key throughout the entire song, harder than you would think. great great job.

the pronunciation thing is my ONLY critique. awesome job.

Dave draws out the 1992, i.e. 1990......2

Check it out, you'll see.

on one of the parts, I did sing, "To Gravedigger." I didn't think it was 1992.

That was good. You didn't try to sound like Dave, you made it sound more special by giving it your own style. I like that and that's something I don't manage to do.
