AHHHHHH
such a good night. the set was awesome, the band was on, and not to mention, they played some seasonal tunes such as Linus and Lucy and Christmas Song. so faded, need sleep.

Is Dream Girl any less boring than it was during the summer? Other than that it looked like a pretty decent set.

The dreamgirls from the end of the summer tour were a big improvement over the early ones from june. They did the "reprise outro" where dave does the yeaaaaaah yeah yeah during the ending jam. I like it a lot better.

It was a solid set list (sans WAYG. GRRR!), but the crowd energy was really low it seemed. I had pretty good seats, just off the floor two sections back on the right side, and no one was into it. I mean I looked around during Nancies and the entire level 3 was SITTING DOWN. I mean come on. Dancing Nancies is one of the great audience sing alongs that DMB does and these people are sitting down.
The crowd got into it for a few songs like Crash Into Me, Bartender, Linus & Lucy (of course!) and Christmas Song, but for the most part seemed pretty subdued. And there were pockets of energy where the crowd got loud, but nobody was dancing or moving much at all. It was weird. I guess, since these were the closest seats I've ever had, I thought that the energy would be that much greater so close to the stage.
Oh, well. I still had a damn fine time. The setlist was solid (if not very varied from the previous 2 shows) and we got a couple of gems thrown in. WAYG was my only complaint, I peed during Stand Up and ODH I could do without, but other than that it was a good, solid show.

You people have horrible bladder control, I never have to go to the bathroom during a concert.

just to clear up the [intro] part right before dancing nancies.......it wasn't the normal intro......it looked a lot like dave went from a barred chord like a D or something around there......G or Bm maybe and then D/F# with some semi-structured lyrics.....couldn't really pic out what they were at the concert but maybe from the recordings......was a really cool #40 type song with Fonz and Carter in the background. anyway.....that's what i got from being there........AWESOME set......can't wait to listen to it again.

Dear DMB,
I'm not asking for any obscure rarities back this winter tour (though that would be nice). Please, if you can find it in your heart, bring in some Satalite, Stay, and Grace is Gone to add some variety from the summer tour. Linus and Lucy and Christmas Song are totally kick ass, but sans them the sets are very similar to summer. I know I might sound whiny, and you're only three shows into the tour, but this issue seems to stand out to me. I'm sure the shows are amazing, as they usually are, but variety is the spice of life. Throw in some more variety.
Yours truly,
Mikey
