A friend of mine wants to sell his electric guitar.
It's a Stratocaster.
Have you ever heard of that? Should I buy it?
(He wanna have 80$...)

no one, and i repeat NO ONE is dumb enough to sell an american made strat for $80. its like a $700 sale priced guitar. even saying its mexican is a stretch.

I dont know about that...the only reason I bring it up is because my roommate just bought a 2 year old american strat from his GOOD friend, who has like 10 electrics alone, for $120. And that included a wah pedal. This was last month. I know youre not going to get that kinda deal at a store...but yeah.

A squire strat isnt that bad for a beginner guitar(im not saying youre a beginner, just thats the type of guitar it is) and it is definatley one of the better things you can buy for $80, i would buy it-

If I ever own a squire, I would be using it for target practice with my missle launcher. I wouldn't even pay 80 bucks for a target practice squire. If it's a squire, don't get it, they are horrible.

I wouldn't buy a fender just because I plain out don't like fenders..
Now if someone offered me a Gibson LP for 80 bucks i'd sell my room out for awhile to get the cash for it...
