did some recording over break *pics too* *56K Warning*

Well last night I went over to my friend Carl's for some ghettonic recording. Setup in his basement is his home studio. This is my second attempt at recording there, and this one came out wonderfull. I played acoustic guitar with my recently Purchased Larrivee d-03R. After acoustic guitar was recorded, carl layered drums on it. After drums I got on the bass and did the best I could. It was the first time I've ever really played bass, so I hope you bassists aren't too hard on me:P . Bass was recorded on a Hofner Violin style bass (Not sure of the model name, but its the one Paul McCartney plays) Into a Boss bass Work station then direct input into the mixer. After bass I got on the electric and threw down my best lead. Leads not exactly my forte either, but it came out better than I thought it would. I used carls Schecter C-1+ into a Boss Guitar workstation and then through my Fender Deluxe. I loved the tone I got from it

We were hoping to get vocals in too, but we ran out of time, seeing that carl goes to a boarding school and had to get ready to go back to school. This was my biggest dissapointment, but I'm planning on going back over christmas break to mix them in.

Heres the Recording, I'd appreciate any comments you have on it, just keep the flaming down.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I still hate you, but you have a pretty good collection of nudie magazines.
