video from an open mic

Unread post by fliggil » Sat Nov 05, 2005 4:08 pm

me and my friend did an open mic a few nights ago that i helped organize with 2 other people, we actually had a turnout of 60-75 so it was decently solid. neither of us had ever played in front of more than like 5 people before, and even then we were wasted, so this was quite an experience for both of us, anyways we played dont fear the reaper, dont panic (coldplay), mmmbop, and take me home tonight, videotaped the whole thing but just wanted to post a clip for your enjoyment, we're not good and we know it, but we had fun and everyone was singing and clapping along

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I still hate you, but you have a pretty good collection of nudie magazines.

Coldplay - Don't Panic

this was our best song musically speaking, least funny, but best executed, lemme know what you think.

(by the way, notice the Halloween tease I for some reason seemed tempted to throw in)

Eh, I liked the first one better. You guys aren't playing the chorus correctly, and it kinda throws it off. Adding the sus with the F chord would sound a lot better, and a better strumming pattern would have suited the song better IMO.
