Personality Paper

For this paper, you will describe an individual's behavior and interpret that behavior from the viewpoint of two of the several different approaches to personality that we have discussed through this semester.

You're paper should begin w/ a short description of the person you have chosen to write about. This section should be a factual description only, no interpretations of the behavior. You may write about any public figure.


This is the paper that i have to do. the second, third, and fourth sections will be my analisys. But the first section has to be factual description of a person's behavior. I'm thinking about doing it on Dave if I can find enough information. If not, I'm thinking about doing it on Eminem cause I know there is PLENTY of info on him.

What I'm asking you guys for is any biographical websites or sites or magazine articles that describe something dave has done or his behavior, or personal sources of observing Dave's behavior. I'm thinking about using Dave speak, as well as his enolvment in Farm Aid and anything else you guys can help me with. Thanks for any help.

I haven't checked it out myself yet, but I did see a podcast of Dave speak on iTunes when I ran a quick search. So that may allow you to get some additional Dave speak if you need more. I have no idea how you would cite that source however.

DMBOnTV has the VH1 Driven on it I believe. I used it as a good source for a psych paper on dave.

just things that he does. things that would define his behavior. obviously, performing in front of people like he does suggests extraversion. stuff like that. i want to take some of the stories he tells about himself, as well as things that he's done. like helping out in farm aid would suggest that he thinks helps out w/ things even when he obviously doesn't need to worry about farmers and the descrution of agriculture. the things he does will tell me what i need to know about his behavior and that will tell me what i need to know about his personality.

i think something that would be really really benefical would be the video of dave and trey going to africa. you could get a lot of different self-perspectives there; the documentary touches on so many different things about him, i think it would be one of the things i would definatley use.

too true. i completely forgot about that. it really showed a shy stand offish side of dave. great point.

you could use that article of the dave&ashley interview from that wine magazine. i think it was posted here about a month ago.

it had some stuff you could use, like how ashley decribed dave as a father and how he built/regularly takes care of his garden.
