DIDO Acoustic

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Thoughts/ideas/suggestions on how dave pulls this one off acoustically so well? I mean of course he has Tim with him, but its gotta be possible to pull off solo.

dido not that hard acoustically, though i do admit without carter and boyd the jams are a bit hard to pull off alone. dido acoustic now available with the d&t disc that comes with some devil.

With dido, you just play it as it is tabbed on this site. You just have to have really good rythem. It's pretty easy though, once you've got it down. Dave's style, as we all know is percussive, so it translates well all by your lonesome. I think it sounds great acoustic, especially on the extra Dave and Timmy disc.

I have a solo dm version of it. It was when it wasn't completed, and improv lyrics still. I also love playing this song solo. I think solo is fine. If anyone wants proof, AIM me (preferably yahoo or msn, since they have better sound). I would post it, but right now my angelfire site is full.

ive been playing the hell outta drive in drive out and i basically got it down now.. anyone have a rough guess as to what dave is messin with in that intro from the new WH DIDO dave and tim? Its obviously the first few notes of the song slowed down and repeated.

Thanks for the feedback people. I love playing the end band jam for this song too. Real good acoustic song to pull off if you're playin for people, thats why Im trying to get it down so well..
