Very nice, that thing is freakig beautiful. I think my favorite from Taylor has been the 614ce triple back. A little less bass than the 714, but very very bright and rich tone overall. Oddly it was a little tougher to play than what the $2800 price tag suggested. But that might have been because it wasn't adjusted.

the vaginal fluid they are secreting is the same composition of urine minus the uric acid and phosphorous. i learned that in 11th grade anatomy. btw, sometimes it does have a FAINT smell of Pizzle.

My favorite Taylor by far is the 2003 614ce. The one that had a tiger stripe like effect on the back.

CWMCALL wrote:That is beautiful! Congrats on the purchase....post more pictures and a clip or two. I have been considering trading my 314ce limited for a 714ce. There is one at the GC here that sounds great but it has been beat up pretty bad in the show room.

How does it hold up to "heavy" strumming...I have heard others say that a cedar top is best suited for finger picking? I would like to hear your opinion on this once you have spent some time with yours.

Congrats again...
Thanks,
After spending a few days playing it, I'd say its a pretty fair assessment that this guitar isn't made for "heavy" strumming. I bought it as a fingerstyle instrument which it does beautifully. Light and normal strumming are fine, but you can tell it isnt made for heavy strummingt. When heavily strummed the it tends to "overload" a bit and get a little muddy, but otherwise it pronounces individual notes amazingly well.
