what can i say? your covers really are incredible. seriously...when you cover a song, i go learn it. maybe because i see that it can be done.

anyway, i'm trying really hard to find a complaint...and the only one i can find is with those sounds at the beginning. when you start strumming the chords, the sounds that come in seem to end a little too abruptly. that's the only thing that caught my attention

i loved it though. awesome miguel!

I listened to the original before listening to your cover Miguel, and I couldn't believe how much you fucking nailed this song. Definitely the best cover I've heard in AWHILE. The effects sounded VERY bad ass. I don't remember much else about it, but I'll definitely be putting this on my iPod (which I'm buying today 8-) )

Do you record your guitar through a stereo cord into a mixer or through a microphone?

Mitch, you pretty much nailed it. I dont have any pedals so all I did was record it and then reverse it in audition. It's awesome how something so simple can sound so cool when you do this.

The acoustic was mic'd with a SE Electronics SE2200A mic with a M-Audio DMP3 preamp.
The electric was recorded direct through a line 6 pod II.

Thanks for the info! How much did the mic for your acoustic cost?

Sorry to bother you again, but what program(s) do you use to record? Do you do a lot of editing within it?

I'm assuming he uses Adobe Audition, which used to be Cool Edit Pro 2.0.
