If you want to spend around $200 I say to look at the Alvarez RD20

or for $350 you can get the Alvarez AD60SC
that's what I have, and I love it. It's got a great bright sound.

I have a dean exotica fm l/h and my only complaint is that it is very quiet and not as bright as an Alvarez or other comps. I don't know what other types of music you are interested in besides the dmb sound but alvarez is extremely versatile. My buddy has one and plays a lot of metalesque tunes and it seems to have that capability moreso than my dean. Long story short, try 'em out, pick your sound...it's the only way.

you also might want to try postign in the correct forum, you'd get a better response.

and no, i would never buy an ibanez acoustic.

look at seagul, alvarez and takamine.

thats cool, but.....alvarez>ibanez.

You've been given some good advice so far. The only thing I would add is that you might consider ebay. It can be a little risky but if your careful you can get end up getting a lot more guitar for your money.

This one is in your price range right now and IMO would be a better guitar than a 3-400$ Alvarez/Takamine etc. I've always heard great things about Tacoma's.
