My friend is selling his handmade Thai guitar on eBay.

Want to ask about strings, maintenance, amps, mics, or comparisons of different guitars or any music equipment? This is for all threads related to music equipment.

It's pretty much brand new. I just played it this past weekend and it has a good feel. Pretty unique I guess. Tell your friends.

You think it's a slim chance anyone will want it?

No one is going to buy a Thai guitar that is supposedly "one of a kind" when they can't even play another one to know how it sounds. Especially for that much money. Maybe they will, but that's my opinion.

i was thinking the same thing. Asian made guitars are generally not as desired North American made, so even though it may be a great guitar, I think he will have trouble selling a guitar made by a person nobody knows, and made in Thailand, for $1200. i know nothing about the guitar, and it may be incredible. But being that you are bidding on something that you can't play ahead of time, its going to be hard to convince people it is a good deal without the assurance of a name brand backing it.
