Please list what you think is the easiest or funnest song to play, begining to end, and any advice on playing it.

oh, and my pick...
...easiest, I guess crash.
funnest, Ants. It sounds great and is fun to play. I just have a really hard time keeping time on the song. I get all A.D.D. and play too fast on the slides.

Say Goodbye is pretty easy, as is Deed Is Done.

I would say one of the easiest is Loving Wings. Digging A Ditch, Dave said in an online chat, is easy. Mother's Night is an early dm song, but is very easy, but it drags on after a while. Dream I Killed God is just 4 chords, and are just two note chords. Deed Is Done is pretty easy, there are some untabbed variations that aren't on dmbtabs.com, though, but he rarely does a variation (you can hear on on L@LC). Watchtower is just 3 chords in a 4 chord progression, that's Dyaln for ya (the intro and varitions that Dave does, though, make it much more complicated). Blue Water is basicly 2 chords, with a very little pikced part, and a run down on the bass string at the end. Halloween is farely easy. Looking At You is basicly one chord with timmy doing stuff over it. Me And Her is simple. Today's the Maker is just fairly easy chords (the old way, though, is much more complex).

wowsers, thanks for all the good tips.

Now, next on the request. Easy to moderate songs that are fun and a little more up tempo. I.E. grey street.

Well, Big Eyed fish is good.
#41 is intermediate, after you are able to stand the stress from the opening chords and the jam.
Ants marching
Bartender & DDTW
X-Mas song
Dancing Nancies
Granny
Gravedigger
Grey Street
I Did It
If I Had A Boat
Let You Down
Lie In Our Graves
Lover Lay Down
One Sweet World
Pantla Naga Pampa => Rapunzel
Pay For What You Get
Say Goodbye
Seek Up
Spotlight
Spoon
Stay
Sweet Up and Down
Tangerine
The Dreaming Tree
Jane
Space Between
Too Much (the jam takes a little bit to get down, though)
Tripping Billies
True Reflections
Typical Situations (because of the harmonics)
