if you want to get more of a sound like Clapton style, go for a strat
if you want to get more of a sound like Bruce, go for the tele

Odd

You say Clapton, everyone knows who you are talking bout, but if you say eric, it's up in the air who it is

If you say Bruce, though, everyone knows who you are talking about.
Yes, I am in a box

best way to describe it.
I prefer a strat(thats what I have) 9 times out of ten.
But my old friend had a hollow body telecaster that sounded absolutely fucking amazing. Great sound, and great playability. Go play one of each at your local guitar shop's practice room for about a week, then buy a used one somewhere else.

never liked the BOSS...nor his E-Street Band...I mean if it takes 11 people on stage to make the sound of a trio, then you are missing something :P

I like Bruce's "ballad" writing...outside of that...Born to Run is BORED to run in my book...
