why georgia question

Unread post by EnFuego » Sun Oct 23, 2005 10:46 pm

Code: Select all

Part 2
This is the basic riff
In concert, he plays variations of it
e------------------------------|
b----3---3-------3-----3---4---|
g----4---2-------2-----2---2h4-| x2
d----2---2h5p2---2h5---2---2---|
a--3---3-------3-----3---3-----|
e------------------------------|
Is this part correct for why georgia? It doesn't seem right to me, but I assume it is being on the JMtabs website

Its not. From what they play on the video and what they have on the tab is inaccurate. I think Jaymebear tabbed out an accurate version

according to that thread that jsgku posted, it is right, but all of the videos are down on it. it doesn't sound right to me, and it seems like the videos on jmtabs are different from the tabs.

It seems to me like it is more like this:

Code: Select all

Part 2
This is the basic riff
In concert, he plays variations of it
e------------------------------|
b----3---3------3-----3---4---|
g----4---4p2----2-----2---2h4-| x2
d----2---2------2h5---2h5-2---|
a--3-----------3-----3---3-----|
e------------------------------|

Definitely not the right tab for this. Me and my buddy used to cover this song and I dont remember those chords at all. And we played it spot on.

My bad.. Thought you were talking about the verse/intro.

I still dont think that part is right though.

Try this:

Code: Select all

e-----------------------------------------------
b-----------------------------------------------
g-----4-----2p0-------2p0----2-----2h4----------
d-----2-----2---2-----2------2--2--2-----(x2)---
a---3-----3-------3-------3---------------------
e-----------------------------------------------
Same thing almost but much easier.

I just figured mayer had multiple ways of playing it by all of the different tabs.
