Guitar Video's

Unread post by MrAndersn » Tue Oct 18, 2005 8:44 pm

First off I tip my hat to all of the people who have organized and contributed their talents to this site. I am certainly recommending my fellow musical friends to visit and sign up.
For someone like myself that has a serious issues learning songs from tabs and word of mouth, these video's are a tremendous help. I can basically mimick anything I SEE over a period of time but really struggle in learning the songs via sheet muisic.

Now my question and it in no way is meant to be offensive to this site and I hope that is not taken as such.
I've searched around for a few days now and im looking for some videos similiar to the ones here. Meaning does anyone on this site put songs by other artists down with the instuctional video's on how to play them? Such as Ben harper, Pearl Jam, ETC. Im not really particular on the songs or artists' because i think anything i learn to play can only benefit me in the long run. Ive been playng alot of Dave's stuff latley and would like to add other artist to my catalog list. Any links or anyone with any input would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I'm not particular with the artist. I would just like some variety.

Thanks

the only other site that has videos strictly for learning the song, to my limited knowledge, is jmtabs.com, a john mayer tab site. not many other people have had the devotion of kanter to make all the videos. sorry i could not be more help, other people might record videos if you have specific questions. oh yea, by the way

dmbtabs...welcome to it.

Mr. Anderson...

Hey, DMBTabs, welcome to it...

That out of the way, I know of no other sites w/ video help quite like this one. But if you have specific songs you want help on, just ask and if someone here can play it and is willing, theyll throw up a video for you.

Ive done numerous DMB vidoes for people, and many others do it all the time, all you gotta do is ask.

probably the nicest thing about this place. everyone is extremly cool with stuff like that, and more often then not a video will be up within 24 hours.

Thanks for the views and reply's. I bookmarked the Mayer site and really appreciate the help.

If I come across a song I'm struggling with I'll definfetly ask for some help with the video aspect of it.

i havent listened to his albums much... but i have listened to them, and i have the any given thursday dvd..

however i would say my favorite thing from him is his performance on Austin City Limits with Buddy Guy and Double Trouble. Very awesome.
