i think i misread nitro's post as saying he had it. who are these special few? i'd be slinging that shit around the internet like the latest naked 18 year old girl.

The GIG country intro was played once live last year i believe, not 100% sure. they don't want a widespread leak of lws 2 because a. these people that have it are close to the band and don't want to get in legal trouble for spreading private material or b. are hoarders, most of the time i'd like to think it's A.

Is this the best quality available? it sounds like they were using a tape recorder to record these songs. Cool, nonetheless.

Yeah, the guy who leaked them held a mic up to his computer to make sure he was the only one with the lossless.

Your sarcasm makes no sense.

How about I rephrase the question for people who wear helmets like you.

Why- is- the- quality- sub-par- to- the- initial- recordings?

Was that slow enough?

Sorry man, but your comment sounded pretty sarcastic. If that's the case, so be it.

how do you guys know that?

i mean, let's assume for a second that someone had these files in a lossless format. let's assume they are intelligent enough, and know how to work with these files.

why i gods name wouldn't they just convert them to mp3 instead of holding up a mic if the lossless was their only concern?

because like tictacs said before they don't want to truly spread them because they are either close with the band or just like to hoarde it for themselves. either way we aren't getting our hands on a good quality version for years to come.
