it's an amazing balance of simplicity, beauty, melody and lyrics...fantastic...just an amazing song when it really comes down to it. you can have far more complex songs in the world, but there are times when there is just a perfect balance in a song that can only be achieved through simplicity, and this song accomplished it in stellar fashion.

from nDMB...
gcom007 wrote:I gave in, I didn't give a rip about this album anyways so my buddy Erik sent it to me. It's got some good stuff on it, but a lot of crap on it too. I'd really like to see him go more in the solo direction though. The good stuff is a lot better than anything he's done as DMB the last few albums. He just needs to continue to put the electric down for one thing (although some devil's not too bad...) and just focus on melody...some of these songs are just amazing...stay or leave and baby...wow. it's tough for me to look at this album to b/c I am incessantly comparing it to Sting's "Dream of the Blue Turtles" also known as his first solo album away from The Police...and well, it's tough to put anyone up against a guy like Sting, but still, there are some real good songs on this album, and some absolute duds. Dave's a lot better at softer, more melodic stuff anymore. his heavier stuff just doesn't work...
