I get to Play a DM3MD!

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I get to Play a DM3MD!

Unread post by jkanter » Tue Oct 11, 2005 5:38 pm

So a member of this board is going to be purchasing a DM3MD from another member. If they choose to identify themselves that's up to them. Well, I am going to head out to the sellers house and play the guitar for the buyer to make sure that the guitar is in good shape and all.

Well, I will be playing it and getting TONS of pictures for the website. I'll be posting an in depth review of the guitar's looks and sound for everyone to see along with dozens of pictures.

Everything should be up Sunday so I'll keep you all informed. Peace all

Well only 234 were made, and Dave has used one to record all his albums from lillywhite on.

Just don't come while you are playing, please. I know its hard not to with a guitar of that magnitude.

It's gotta feel and sound like butta'. One of 230-something? Palms are sweating just thinking about it. Gotta be nice to be the point man for the purchaser. Hats off to ya.

That's interesting. I never knew Mayer had one, let alone 2-3.

I thought he used one on Leno back in the day when he played No Such Thing. It might be his D-35 though. I dont know, I have the viedo and sometimes I swear I can see a sgnature at the bottom of the fretboard.

I think I might buy a Martin within the next year. Right now the D-35 is my top choice. I don't want to steal this thread though.
