Last song?

For their farewell tour, if it was the last song DMB were to play together live, what would/should it be and why?

Ants - Fan favorite since their very beginning, very powerful way to close a set, one of their best songs musically and with the arrangements and lyrics, good way to end their incredible stint.

the last stop would be fitting, but its not a good way to end it. i think itll be ants or billies, but probably ants. wwys isnt gonna be a closer....

If they do two final shows like phish did, The first one should end with stay and encore with a three-verse grey street, WYA, and Watchtower.

The second should end with billies, the encore with granny, the last stop, and finally ants.

i'm gonna have to say billies would be a great end. i get chills at shows with that normally but for a last show, last song...wow

and as crazy and hard to think about as it is, this will inevitably happen at some point.

on a similar thread someone said somethign like

Last stop - all the band members have a kick ass jam, and then all leave one by one. all have a solo before they leave
first Butch, then Boyd, then LeRoi, then steffan, then dave and carter play out for a while.
carter tones the drums down quietly and leaves.
dave finished one last verse on the outro with "goodbye, friends, goodbye" bows out and leaves stage for the last time ever.

then comes out for a second encore and plays Ants

we've had this thread before....and that exact idea was presented about the last stop.

and dude...switch that up. ants is first encore....then come back for that ridiculous last stop. timmy and bela have to be there though.

i have a feeling theyll have a lot of guests on their last show. it would suggest that your last show should be about you, but that band is so selfless that i wouldnt be suprised.

also i think tic tacs might have suggested lie in our graves...fade out for the stop...and go off and come back for it in the encore.
