That's untrue. We ARE different. I'm not trying to be. Lol.
Seriously, if you get all literal and shit I'm correct.
But seriously, who needs another box set of songs we've already heard thousands of times. Compounded with terrible new songs it's really a waste of money (to me at least). I'd buy the 9-11-05 show and that's
about it. I think it's mainly because my excitement level concerning DMB's live shows has been tempered quite a bit with age and with the release of Stand Up and the fact that the same thing that happened to Phish is happening to DMB - i.e. DMB's marketing prowess is behemoth-like. When you start seeing more and more kids (yes, KIDS) with DMB tee-shirts on and SU blasting on their nano-IPOD's the luster is lost for me. Anytime something becomes so popular it's only a matter of time before Madison Avenue and the MTV/t.v. execs. cash in.
Bottom line, anything that comes from nothing that becomes successful can never remain pure.
I didn't vote for the whole box set becasue IM not going to pay $100 to see it. I voted for 9/11 becasue that's the best night.
That's one of the "problems" for me too, I don't want to spend $100 on all that shit when all I want is one night.
I know I may have sounded a great deal negative in my earlier post (this goes out to everyone) but I still am a fan of DMB and love their music, I may sound jaded, but over time my tastes and opinions have changed.

Just to let you know, I was agreeing with you. Why the fuck would they do 4 nights worth of DVD's... How many repeated songs would be on there anyway if they did the 4 night set? If they could pull songs from each night that weren't played on any other nights, then I would buy that.

But, still 4 shows is a bit much. Highlights would be nice.

what i'd rather have is one show where we can watch one band member the entire time, that would be awesome, but i dont think cap$haw would let that fly.

But if they go DVD, give me the whole show. There wasn't an 04 show dvd, so they should bust one out.
i want all of it, dvd and cd. the audio will only take up
this much space on my ipod.
haha true, but im more concerned about my wallet than my ipod
id pay 100 dollars for it !!
