Electric. Ive been obsessed with it the past few months. Started with my Man-crush (yea, Im not ashamed) for Mayer and then grew to his influences. However, is still prefer john...I geuss cause its modern.

I prefer acoustic, but I do believe the electric tends to be overlooked on these boards.

I think the acoustic takes more talent. Just about anybody can sound good on an electric because with all the effects you can cover up a lot of your flaws, but with an acoustic it just is what it is.

even if this was a Metallica fan board, I would still say acoustic. I just love the vintage sound that acoustics bring. Electrics are good as long as its not like piercing horrible sounds or like so harsh and crashy that it blows your eardrums.
