New video's up

I have posted new video's but I am not putting the announcement on the main page. Don't want to draw TOO MUCH attention to them for bandwidth reasons....

Crash, Christmas Song, BOWA, and WWYS(Verse only)

The BOWA video's are not that great. They weren't going to go up but many people were asking for them. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS before you criticize, it isn't what I want up but it should help out some people

The WWYS video is PLAYED VERY FAST. Again, I don't know why I played it fast, it seems I was nervous when I was recording. You should see the Rhyme & Reason video....played SO MUCH faster than need be. Again, this isn't the best video cause it's fast, but I put it up to help some people out

I don't have my DV camera right now but I should be getting it back in a couple weeks or so. I cannot record any more video's until then. I am still entertaining suggestions but remember that there will prob not be any more video updates for a couple weeks.

what do you think is wrong with the BOWA video, I loved it, I can almost play it already, thanks a lot!

I don't know....it just seems a little off to me. I wasn't very happy w/ it when I recorded it which is why I wasn't going to release that version. A better one(in my eyes) will be up when I get my camera back unless people feel that it is good enough. I just thought I could have done better. Oh well, at least I know WWYS is too fast

I was wondering something, in WWYS you have the end of the vers tabbed out with a 2-3-2 hammer/release on the b string but you play it with just a bend on 2 on the b string, which way do you think is right? Also what songs in your mind will be up on the next video update? Im dying for warehouse. Thanks again!

The ^'s mean bend. I don't know if I put that on the how to read tabs page because I didn't remember that any Dave songs had bends! Anyway, the ^'s mean bends. If I had 2h3p2, that would mean hammer/release.

As for the next video's, Like I said in my original post, I won't be able to update video's for a couple weeks because I don't have my DV camera. BUT, Warehouse and OSW will def be one of those video's up. Those two songs have been EXTREMELY requested so I will put those up along w/ others...I'm not sure exactly when though....ENJOY!!!

alright, so maybe its not a hammer/release but you have it written as 2^3^2 but all you do is a bend at 2 on the b string, am I just reading this wrong? Please explain.

The bend at the 2 means to bend it up a half step. When you bend upwards, it moves the pitch of the note up depending on how much you bend. So basically you bend the 2 on the a string up a half step to make it sound like the 3 on the a string(if you play the bend slowly, at the top it will sound the same as if you hit the 3 itself), and then release the bend to give it the 2 on the A string sound.

It's hard to explain but that basically means bend up a half step. Hope that helps....maybe someone else can explain it better....peace

i dont' know about anyone else but when i play video three of crash into me it doesn't work for me.

don't worry about that last post it doens't work with my real player but it does work with another but it only plays 12 seconds of the 19 seconds video.
