That's untrue. We ARE different. I'm not trying to be. Lol.GSRLessard14 wrote:If you don't want the box set, then you're just trying to be different.
Seriously, if you get all literal and shit I'm correct.
But seriously, who needs another box set of songs we've already heard thousands of times. Compounded with terrible new songs it's really a waste of money (to me at least). I'd buy the 9-11-05 show and that's
about it. I think it's mainly because my excitement level concerning DMB's live shows has been tempered quite a bit with age and with the release of Stand Up and the fact that the same thing that happened to Phish is happening to DMB - i.e. DMB's marketing prowess is behemoth-like. When you start seeing more and more kids (yes, KIDS) with DMB tee-shirts on and SU blasting on their nano-IPOD's the luster is lost for me. Anytime something becomes so popular it's only a matter of time before Madison Avenue and the MTV/t.v. execs. cash in.
Bottom line, anything that comes from nothing that becomes successful can never remain pure.

I didn't vote for the whole box set becasue IM not going to pay $100 to see it. I voted for 9/11 becasue that's the best night.c_tietze wrote:That's untrue. We ARE different. I'm not trying to be. Lol.GSRLessard14 wrote:If you don't want the box set, then you're just trying to be different.
