Sweet up and down question

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Sweet up and down question

Unread post by Kragh » Wed Sep 17, 2003 7:04 am

Just wondering if you guys are absolutely sure if he plays this on a 12 string like the tab says. When i listen to the album version it doesnt seem like its on a 12 string, other songs you can just tell its on a 12 string from that extra boom!!! Plus i saw a video posted on the bridge and he was playing a 6 string. Just wondering, Thanks

I wonder why dave puts it in drop d. It sounds fine in standard. I find it easier to play it in standard too.

Yes, this is because it's easier to get the power chords, without the ringing E string. Trust me it sounds a lot better....IMO.

get some sleep isaac..... sounds like you need it.

Has anyone seen that bush video where he forgets the "old saying"

its goes something like "There's an old texan saying, i think you may have heard it '...*small pause*...Fool me once, *small pause wihle thinking and looking uncomfortable* shame on you. Fool me twice...*longer pause with a very uncomfortable look and moves around a bit* ...' the point is you can't fool me twice.

lol. its hilarious
