Dave & Tim Storytellers...
Did they release a cd for the VH1 storytellers from back in the day? If so, where can I get my hands on it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The way VH1 did it, they didn't allow tapers. So, someone hid a microphone under his hat. That's the only copy known in circulation. I wish they would have shown the full concert, and not those few songs. I would have loved to see them do John the Revelator, and the second take of Spoon. I hope they someday release it like how mtv does their unplugged concerts (the only good thing that has come out of modern mtv).
Yes, I am in a box

Go to http://www.antsmarching.org, register for an account. Once you are logged in, in your left sidebar should be "Downloads" and "Tour Central". If you want to learn how to use AntsDownloader (which i won't go into right now, but you can post here if you need assistance or pm me), click "Tour Central", go to 1999->3/24/99, and download the .ants file for that show. If not, then go to "Downloads", push "Login for shows 1990-2002". Navigate to 1999, then go to "d+t1999-03-24.shnf ". You can download all of the tracks from storytellers (the whole concert, not just the aired portion) in .SHN format. If you need help with that, post here again and let me know.checkii wrote:Either way, i've been seeing that cd-r of the storytellers performance with 48 tracks (including 2nd takes and commentary) and i'm almost willing to pay the $25.![]()
I was always a Dave fan, but when that storytellers was released is when I became retarded for him.
Warning before you do this - the quality of this pull (which is the only one out there that i am aware of, so i'm sure it's the same one on that $25 cd) is not astounding by any means. it gets the job done though.
