Yeah I feel the same way. If this were a couple years back I would have easily skipped class but this year is a whole different story. And honestly right now I would be going more to see Soulive open then the band itself. I saw them 3 times this year too so its not a big deal.
Nothing will top 2002 with James Brown. So Im sure I wont be missing anything. Plus, I saw Trey with Dave this summer...I can't imagine what else they could do? They will probably play alot of rarities like they did on 9/11.

Yeah the most they would do is probably have Rashawn Ross guest throughout the tour. Apparently he has become really close with Carter and Leroi, those 3 are in the beginnings of a side project with numerous other guests.

The thing is, I want to see DMB. Not who the guest is going to be. If they can't carry themselves then I consider them going downhill. [which some would agree]

The highlight for most people this year was RR on LB. Yeah, it was good but nothing incredible.

Also, I already seen that Rashawn dude at SBC N2. He did well on Two step.

I don't think the shows will be exactly the same as the summer... right?

i'm SURE it won't be like the summer tour

at least in the sense that they won't do 9 SU songs each show.
they'll surely play some, but it'll likely be a more even spread.

I think this could be a very good tour

agreed. assuming they get enough rest between the end of the summer and the beginning of the winter. because if they don't, then this could be very bad. another thing. i know there were a bunch of songs from the stand up sessions left over, do you think they'll break them out before they put them on the new album, ala summer 2000 and 2004 tours?? if we're subjected to stand up songs plus new-baston-album songs this could suck.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

I think so too. Shit, we'll see some Christmas Song... etc. I always think BTCS when i think winter tour for some reason... probably because of live in chicago.

I disagree. I think the FIRST couple shows will be very similar to the summer.

Penn State, here I come!!! It's the closest show to me, even though it's 3 hours...

Only problem is that is like 4 or 5 days before the week of finals   :? :?

everyone's facing that problem. i'm hoping i won't have any finals on the 13th/14th. i'm pretty sure if it came down to it i'd go and pray the final was easy.

Be a man. My junior year in college (1998) I went to see DMb in Candada and failed two finals as a result. :) Good times. Great show.
