Warwick Basses

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

here here!

how good do you think they are compared to other companies? i know stefan's been rocking the flea basses usually now...i wonder why he switched.

My Warwick Dream List:

Dolphin SN 4-String
Infinity SN 5-String
Thumb 6 String
Corvette Standard Fretless

i did the math...its only like 10,000 dollars...something to shoot for.

I've got a Corvette RockBass. Tis obviously a cheap version of the real line, but it's quite amazing. Still a ton of growl for the price...set me back about 450 for a fiver...none too shabby IMO.

Next step is to find a decent practice amp...any suggestions?

I got my fiver for 320. It's a squier and kinda shitty. I really need to get a job and get me a new bass. The beauty of it is, after playing for 2 years with a low B, I am gonna re string it this week with a high C and try that out, for kicks.

I started w/ a Squier 4 string. It lasted about 2 years before some sort of massive electrical failure. =/

Right now I've got the Warwick and a Yamaha BB404. I love them both, and the Yamaha has great sound for such an inexpensive bass. Especially w/ distortion...heh.

I need to record some stuff I think. If I have time I might record some DMB ish and post it here. Fair warning tho: I never said I was GOOD. ;)
