i think deed is done is decent, but by no means a good song, pay for what you get sucks, so does let you down, ill back you up is a little better, but still not worth listening too, mother father is pretty bad, sleep to dream her is also a waste of time, the lovely ladies dont belong anywhere near the band---they are one of the things i most despise, there is no need for them at all, we want to hear dave, not them, christmas song is gay, cry freedom and proudest monkey are both lame, pig---althought the lyrics are good, the song sucks, last thing i have to say is.....everyday isnt that special, i know i will get some comments of dissagreement from people, but, i am just putting my 2 cents in, so, shoot away, i am happy to hear discussion over this topic, dave is my fav, but, no band doesnt have lame songs
you know for a while i didnt like let you down, but then i got in a situation kind of like what the song talks about and i love it now because i can relate to those fealings. A few of daves songs i didnt really get into for a while until something happened and i could relate to it. For example, i always thought that Grace is Gone was an ok song (especially musically) but i could never really realate with the song until i got dumped by the GF, then i became one of my favorite songs. Another example, i don't really get Halloween, it's a fun songs but i have no idea WTF it's about, i'm guessing something about halloween...

wait till get dumped by a GF and u dont go out on good terms, fuckin bitches. then ull understand halloween
Ah it's making sense now... I can''t believe i missed that one.

Like studio Lie In Our Graves, or 20 minute long Gorge Lie In Our Graves. I love the studio, and older live versions of it. But i can only get into the extended jams if im in a certain mood.

I gotta say And another thing. It totally butchers the passionate quality that Little Thing had. Its just a throw away song.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I agree, it almost seems like he felt like he 'had' to do something with 'little thing' and just threw it on there. And the falcetto doesn't sound that great on that particular song.

hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

...and now that we're on the subject, can someone PLEASE upload cigarette lit? I have yet to hear it, and it sounds like such a badass song.

Cigarette Lit
Best song from the sessions, IMO. Dave seems to like to keep some of his best songs locked away for some reason, it seems.
