for sure, I agree, while Seven Days is probably my favorite Sting tune, Hounds of Winter on All This Time is phenominal. I'm going to PM you my tab for you to check out. Let me know if you've got any tips to improve on it.

Personally i'd go with:

1. Crush
2. Only the good die young (b joel)
3. Buzzing (howie day)
4. Africa (toto/howie day)
5. ants marching

Just curious as to how some people would mix it up a little...
hmmmm i'm quoting myself ( a first )... not really, it's funny cuz songs i'd wanna play change with time (naturally for everyone too i'm sure).. i think i'd replace the b.joel song with elton's 'rocket man' now...jason mraz does a great cover of the song that' i've kinda fell in love w/playing it, good song to really belt out vocals too...songs that the audience can sing with you too is helpful (depending upon the crowd and song of course)

I think I'd still do those songs...although if I were doing originals I'd probably just do one cover if that...I wouldn't want to play anything that's mindblowing though guitar wise...I just want to play some fairly simple stuff really, really well...

true, i wouldn't play anything too difficult either...especially with limited experience playing in front of a crowd...hopefully some open mic nights will help me to work on trying more difficult songs out with time...but yeah, in the beginning i'd definitely keep it simple
