I dont' know why you all blame batson for this "so-called" shitty album.
Dmb put out their first album themselves and have had pretty much complete control of all their music since day one. Ya'll act like dmb had no choice in making the album Stand Up. I love the album and i think the band is gonna find themselves in a better/happier place after this album when it comes to writting a new album. The band seems very happy with S.U. and they seem to be eager to get back in the studio to make more music.
I just don't know what to say. Everyone judges a band by there first "hit" album and then they shit on them cause they grow and change as people.
You can't expect musicians to sit there and try and please "you" as the comsumer, that is not what music is. Its about who you are and what makes you happy.
I think the band is strong with who they are and i don't think they let batson run the whole show when it came to what was gonna be put on the album and what wasn't.
I'm ready for the new album.

i think that these stand up songs have turned pretty damn awesome. the early 2005 show i went to sucked pretty bad, low energy because the songs didnt seem very cohesive but these more recent (end of tour) ones are amazing. i think they will have learned how to make the songs more spectacular from the beginning so that this new album will be better...
i am excited-- i think its gonna be good!
