So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I aint know what he was using, but on a side note, Timmy used a Taylor six-string last night.

Timmy has a tyalor now? With my knoledge he hasn't played one live for quite some time. He has been playing is Marting D-35 for such a long time. I thought his had a GREAT sound. That guitar is on the pictures with Timmy on one of my favorite albums of all time, See Into Your Soul. Man, that is a GREAT album.

I didn't think he'd ever played one before this tour. But anywho, ya, he picked up a Taylor, he likes it better for fingerpicking he says. Reminds him of a classical (i think that's what he said, can't remember exactly). Duluoz, was he using strictly the taylor for the acoustic set or was he switching off between the 35 and the 714?

On the cover of Stream, he is holding a Taylor. On the CD version of it, he is holding a taylor on both sides of the insert. Though, the picture behind the CD, it looks more like a recent timmy, and he is holding his D-35.

^ states he is holding a gibson on the stream cover. don't have stream, so i don't know either way.

the thing is, i remember fluffy saying that tim hadn't played a taylor before until this summer, and he really liked it.

Well, if Fluffy says that, it's true. Hmm, I look at the pickguard now, and it does look like Gibson. also, Fluffy is cool! Since he did the cover to Nomadic Wavelength, I had him autograph it ;) .
