jkanter said he had to write a question he would ask dave...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

He was once told to write songs in the key of E, A, and D, by a man he values very much. Forget the name though...

warehouse is not in the key of d
im talking about songs he's been writing lately

where are you going, stay or leave...

not to neglect the immense amount of older songs in D: bartender and DDTW, Christmas song, ants, granny, let you down, lie in our graves, billies, pantala, crush, grey street, and there's probably a few i left out

I think that's in the L@LC tab book....but didn't he say that some guy told him that every guitarist writes in E,A and D and since then he's tried not to write in those keys? I dunno, I could be wrong. Haven't read that in years...

If we can get back to the original topic...It would be a multipart question, something like this (well this is how I envision the conversation): "HOLY **bleeeeep** Dave Matthews!!! Oh my God!!! well not my "God" but geeez!!! It's Dave Matthews!!! (and if he hasn't run away screaming yet or had his entourage savagely destroy me) Wow, do you think we could jam sometime? Can I have your phone number, an address? No? oh, ok...I love you? no, not that either...I'm so lonely, hold me? **playlikedave beaten brutally**"

Yea, that would rock....

peace
I love you oh so well, like a kid loves candy and fresh snow.

I haven't
i have. and i don't believe it's a well-known fact. at all. and i'm not sure anyone in the band hates any of the other members. stefan always becomes the butt of the jokes since he is 8 years younger than the rest of them, but i don't see that as evidence of hatred. "we always pick on the ones we love."
