haha, yes, you NEED a capo to make it sound right. It changes the pitch of the strings so its not going to sound the same at all without one. Heres some info on them:

play in relation to the capo
if the capo is on the third fret then "Am" would be played

If the capo was on the third fret, an Am would be 355333.
The song is actually in Cm, so just act as if the capo is the end of the fretboard. (When you play an Am, you're actually playing a Cm)

I can record myself playing the song with the tab I posted if that helps. Its the D&F version from Bonaroo (I think) last year where they debuted the song. Its the only version I know how to play. If you want it, let me know.
