dave at west point

Unread post by westpointsucks » Mon Aug 15, 2005 4:21 pm

Im a plebe here at West Point and everytime I play some Dave somebody comes around and was like "You know Dave came here once, few years ago."

Did Dave really do a gig at West Point or is it confirmed that I am a gullible plebe. If so, you think he would ever make his way back? He doesnt seem like a guy west point would let on post. He has a brain and asks why, dangerous thing around here.

I went to VMI, don't you guys have an honor code? If he was f-ing with you it should have been pretty obvious. Anyway, the guy above posted the setlists so you know it is real. My girlfriend was actually at the show, met somebody there, and broke up with me when she got back! bitch! Anyway, good luck dude. Stick it out, do what your told and you'll be fine.

I was at VMI pre-female integration and have not been back since. I have heard it has changed a lot. I really don't care either way but I am a traditionalist.

I admire you VMI guys. You were willing to pay for all the misery and torture and its probably way worse than what we get.
Did you graduate from VMI? Do you think the four years there were worth it? I definately question spending college life at the Academy.
West pointers are douche bags, I cant believe he stole your girlfriend. All we do is talk aboout values and they do stuff like that. Go figure

I did not graduate. I went on a lacrosse scholarship and left after my 2nd class year to become a hippy. I had to go to military school to figure out I did not like the military! go figure. Dude, I would stick it out if you can. You may not realize it now, but the west point diploma will open a lot of doors for you after you graduate and put in your service. Its called "the good ole boy network." Not to mention West Point is a prestigious institution (to outsiders atleast!!) and you will get respect for finishing. Also, It only sucks the first year. Atleast you are able to listen to the radio. When I was a rat at vmi we were not allowed any electronic devices other than academic supplies. It sucked. This was the fall of '93 when Dave Matthews Band was the biggest thing on pretty much all college campuses in Virginia. I could only listen from a distance!
