The quotations were because thats back when lots of people were doing it, it was a fad, the in thing to do at the time. It was dumb, but kinda funny then. Anyone whos still doing it, well, were all laughing at them.

I remember going to see Dave for the first time way back when, summer of 95, and thinking "Good God there are alot of hippies here". A few years later I thought "Good God there are a lot of frat kids here". Another couple of years passed and I realized "these kids are getting younger. Don't they check ID's".

I have been seeing the band and D&T if I get lucky religiously since 95. I would actually dread driving to see a show because of random acts of stupidity displayed by others and shouts of (all in unison now ladies) CRASH! or (all the frat boys now) WATCHTOWER! But once the band got going it all kinda drowned out and I could lose myself in the show. Now I get great enjoyment in talking to various people at the shows and hearing about their experiences with the band and the shows they have seen. It still gets me to see the look on someone's face when I tell them that I saw that little band from C-ville playing the HORDE tour back in the day. Of course someone has gotta call me old when I tell them that.

Yeah, I was witness to tha last weekend. The surface area of his jeans were more holes then cloth as well, and he had his hat crook'd ever so perfectly. At a fucking bonfire at a barn. He was a freshman when I was a senior, I wanted to walk up to him and smack him.
