Honsestly, if you are serious musician, having someone's name on it as hated and loved as Dave is, well it's tacky in my opinion.dmfollower wrote:Yea, that would suck if you had a pimp ass martin with dave's name on it, i see what you meanc_tietze wrote:You can still buy the guitar it's a D-35. I personally wouldn't but the DM version because it's too pricey and has his name on it.
Better still, buy Martin with no name on it and play well, make 4 track demo, get picked up to play college frat parties, then clubs, release Platinum disc, follow up with more Gold discs and then play areans and amptheaters and Martin will put YOUR name on the guitar.

if that was the exact recipe, i think a lot of us would have been famous by now...c_tietze wrote:Honsestly, if you are serious musician, having someone's name on it as hated and loved as Dave is, well it's tacky in my opinion.dmfollower wrote:Yea, that would suck if you had a pimp ass martin with dave's name on it, i see what you meanc_tietze wrote:You can still buy the guitar it's a D-35. Yeah...forgot to get the specs when I went home for lunch. I'll get em up later tonight when I'm back home...won't be till about 11pm EST though.
These are specs received directly from Martin and that weren't ever put online and have a few extra things in it that aren't on normal spec pages. T714, if you still have em, please post them so people can see em sooner. Thanks!
