QUE UNDE ES UN TAQUITA UN "pick-up"?
ok...does anyone know anything about fuckin pick-ups?
I just bought a new CHET....I want to put a fishman pick-up in it, but I have to choose between "narrow" and "wide" format....does anyone know what this means? and which one I should get?
help is much appreciated.

I thought so, but anywho...saleen wrote:doesn't a chet have a pickup?
If you're having to choose between narrow and wide, then you're buying an under-the-saddle pickup. There is a slot underneath the middle of the saddle, and its width differs from guitar maker to guitar maker. You'll have to find out what the slot width is for Gibson Chets.

Well, for the matrix II..the wide format is .125'' (3.17mm) and the narrow format is .094'' (2.39mm).
So I guess you'll just have to measure which would fit best in your chet..
Have a look at this fishman matrix user manual, it should help..
Install guide
Congrats on the geetar dude

im not questioning your motivation, i would like a chet too. all i was saying is maybe you got a fake. i trust fire's knowledge of the subject, and since he said that all chet's come with a pickup, i was thinking maybe you were tricked into buying a fake because you said yours didn't have oneDmbFanJason wrote:I was being sarcastic, I am really getting sick of people not helping me because they think I am being to much of a wannabe Dave...If I was such a wannabe why dont I have a fuckin Taylor? can somebody just fuckin help me out rather than questioning my motivation?
