some questions fire:
what key was that in? what sort of chord voicings did you use?
and what was the deal with the stereo effect? it sounded like the high end frequencies (the melody) were in just the left speaker.
just wanna discuss the mechanics of this song with ya

well, just because its in an open C5 tuning, doesn't mean it has to be in C, but it sounds like it is anyway.

I blame most everthing I have taught myself on my ear...that includes chord theory and alot of other technical things I have picked up over the 10 years of teaching myself

I know a whole mess, but not how to read/write it in standard musical notation (sheet music)...

one of my favorite spoken word poets once said that,
"i could explain my creative process to you, but then i'd have to kill you."
so i suppose it's up to fire whether or not he wants to kill us!

heh...it keeps freaking me out to see this topped

...I like it
ok...process eh?...what process

...no, but for something like this, the process was preformed while recording it...I have tired my best to train myself in practice for being able to work something out on the spot...what I do is just hit the record button and let it roll...since I started doing so, I think I have gotten a bit better at it...I just want to be able to sit down for people and improv a com[pletely new and original sound...does that satisfy your question, or should I ellaborate more?
thanks for the comment though
