Ever felt this way after really singing it good?

Unread post by bighuk » Tue Jul 26, 2005 11:32 pm

Couple nights ago I really got into the song and started putting an uncontrolable amount of emotion into it. Pretty much my hair stood up on my arms and they got weak my entire legs tensed up and I felt tingly all over after the song. Even 30 minutes after I got done playing and singing the song I felt weaker than ever in my legs and still felt really tingly all over. I'm talking I really got into this song while I was playing it more than I ever have before. The couple people I had around me told me it was a really good performance... I put mad emotion into the song. It almost felt like a really big adrenaline rush or something.

That's only happened to me once, during cross-country practice. We were just doing 400's, and all of a sudden I just got this crazy feeling. It seriously felt like I was high, but a way better and more pervasive feeling than being high, and I seriously ran non-stop for like an hour afterwards.

I'm not exactly fast nor a good runner, so after that day my nickname was Seabiscuit.

"one time our car broke down and my mom gave me a chocolate bar and i pulled the car home"

sorry that seemed fitting.
but to the point...

i dont sing, but one time we had a friend of ours join us for a song and we just jammed it like no other...and we turned the lights out so it was just amazing...everyone was uber in to it. god that is awesome.

If I took that out of context, I could totally make that sexual. See how cool I am?

yea man. getting lost in a song is the best. it's what makes me love music so much. you get done and you're not sure what just happened but everyone's smiling and clapping and you know whatever it was, came straight from the heart. MUSIC RULES!!!!!!

The beauty of live music, it only exists in the moment. To me, just "going for it" when singing and actually "getting there" is one of the most rewarding parts of performing live. I live for that shit man.
