One Sweet World Intro!
the tab for this is right on the money, however I would like to make a suggestion. This is the 2nd part on this site:
E:------------------------------------------------
B:-----1-------0-1--------------------------------
G:-------0---2-----3------------------------------
D:---2---------------0-0-----3-0-----3-1-----1/3--
A:-3-------2---------------3-------3-----1-3------
E:-----------------------1-------4----------------
This is how I play the 2nd part:
E:-----------------------------------------------------------
B:-----1-------0-1-----------------------------------------
G:-------0---2-------3-------------------------------------
D:---2-----------------0-0-----3-0-----3-1-----1/3-------
A:-3-------2-----"1"---------3-------3-----1-3--------4/6
E:--------------------------1-------4-----------------------
That one dinky little note is what I personally would add...The 4 to 6 slide is just for fun...I have looked at a lot of tabs, but none seem to have this...anyway, so all i can say is just check it out, listen, and play along with dave and tell me what you think...peace!
It would be nice to have anyone else's feedback as well..peace bro.

I actually play this intor using an older tab...but I really like the way it flows...
E:-----------------------------------------------------------
B:-----1-------0-1-----------------------------------------
G:-------0---2-------3-------------------------------------
D:---2-----------------0-0-----3-0------------------------
A:-3-------2-----"1"---------3----------8-6-------6h8---
E:--------------------------1-------4-6-------6\8---------
Like DmbFanJason...I too paly the 1 on the A string where it is...I realize this tab might not work for those of you playing the new tablature of this intro... it works great for me...becuase the tab I learned from it began
E:----------.........
B:----------........
G:-------8--........
D:-----8----........ etc....
A:---6-----5........
E:-----------......
and also...when you go into the new intro or right to the song...your hands are positioned right in place at the starting point of the first 8xx8xx starting chord..
Just a thought...
E:-----------------------------------------------------------
B:-----1-------0-1-----------------------------------------
G:-------0---2-------3-------------------------------------
D:---2-----------------0-0-----3-0------------------------
A:-3-------2-----"1"---------3----------8-6-------6h8---

Thats how I play it and it sounds ok to me..i actually learned the beggining part differently and I'm too lazy to relearn it cause the way i know it sounds fine...i gotta learn the bridge to that song tho i've been too lazy to memorize the chord progression in that part, otherwise not a hard songjsgksu wrote:anyone else think the double open on the d-string sounds kinda awkard? just my opinion

Yes, that into really kicks ass... what was Dave thinking, or what drug was he on when he came up with that? Or did it come from a chord progression or stretching technique like Satellite did? I heard that somewhere. I also heard that Dave's chord stretches were kinda an accident. He was trying to immitate one of his jazz idols who tuned his guitar in a different way where his hands were all stretched out over the fret board... Dave thought that he was playing some chords... anyone else read that anywhere?

i don't play the intro the same way as everyone else seems to. i based mine off an older tab were you don't even do the whole picking of the C chord down at the neck, you do it up by 6th and 7th on the E and....well i can't explain it without thinking real hard and im stoned but does anyone else play it that way?
