You can get the tab nearly note for note, but really with just knowing the basic chords even in the open position you can just fiddle around in free time and come up with a good intro on your own.Dale_Milligan wrote:Just while we are on the Watchtower intro subject, how difficult is the CP intro to learn? Ive got the tab, just never got round to learning it?
My $.02

I agree C-Fly... the guitar intro part Dave plays is pretty simple and easy to figure out... just mess around with Am, Am/G, F, G repeat or Am, G, F, G repeat.. notefor note part becomes easy to figure out.. but I think like Grace Is Gone Dave just kinda wings it b/c there's always subtle nuances that make it unique... maybe not very unique b/c there's only so much uniqueness that can come out that intro.. but so it is, IMO...

Yeah, you feel me. It's the dynamics that makes live music especially so wonderful, the nuances are key.dmbfaninmass wrote:I agree C-Fly... the guitar intro part Dave plays is pretty simple and easy to figure out... just mess around with Am, Am/G, F, G repeat or Am, G, F, G repeat.. notefor note part becomes easy to figure out.. but I think like Grace Is Gone Dave just kinda wings it b/c there's always subtle nuances that make it unique... maybe not very unique b/c there's only so much uniqueness that can come out that intro.. but so it is, IMO...
