DMB songs that flow for you...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": Dr. Peter Venkman: I make it a rule never to get involved with possessed people. Actually it's more of a guideline than a rule.

DMB songs that flow for you...

When you play DMB on guitar, are there any particular songs that you routinely flow into from another?

Example: I will play Let you Down, and then seamlessly begin playing What Will become of me, and anyone but DMB fans can't tell the difference.

I actually like doing LIOG into Toy Soldiers, I think its a nice little outro for it.

I think we had a thread about this a few months ago in regards to what would be the best songs to play at a live gig ...

Something where one song naturally transitioned into another ...

Obviously #41 and Say Goodbye work well ... But the best way is to figure out the keys the songs are in and do it that way ... Then figure out lyrically what meshes ... Going from Ants Marching right into Halloween would probably put people in a tizzy :)

*Edit*

I just forgot ... Back in what must have been '94 or so DMB did a stint on SNL and teased Warehouse before going right into Ants ... It was pretty badass ... I wish they'd go back to the other version of Warehouse for a while ... I love the stop-time one but it's gotta be getting old.

that is such a fun way to spend 20 minutes, just play the three, one into the other. i played pnp into say goodbye into when the world ends once, and it kind of flowed.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

Dreamgirl -> LB proves very interesting
" Could I have been,
Ulysses S. Grant
Could I have been,
A poor man in a van
Could I have been,
A cool guy named Harris
Could I have been,
Your half step-brother
Could I have been
A fish in a sea...

Or better yet Say goodbye -> LYD. The lyrics follow suit and its a real pantie dropper if pulled off smoothly enough. Thats from experience. ;-)

One Sweet World -> #36 -> Everyday

You could probably even just play OSW and start singing "Come and Dance With Me ..." and then slowly go into #36 and then on into Everyday :)
