With a band like DMB what is th point of putting out a series such as Live Trax? I understand a Live Phish where each show is different and interesting, but dmb shows, while each show is different in order of set list, they are relatively the same in song content. Maybe if they had some interesting covers or something, but shit, man, these are all the same except for guest or lack thereof.

not to mention that most people who would buy these already have the shows bootleged long before they were released as live trax, so really, for most people, it's why pay 18 bucks for something i already have.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

exactly, dmb needs to switch some shit up. I would rather see a disc of complete covers than a disc of the same old shit.

I'm excited about this. No guests, no Butch, its from 96 which was a great year. I can't wait to hear just DMB at what I consider a high point in they're career.

If you collect shows, then it really shouldn't matter what shows they release. If you don't collect shows then you should be happy that your getting anything at all. And if you talking shit about there setlists from 9 years ago then you just need to shut the fuck up.

I'm sad cause all the released live trax have been shows that i already have

 I agree completely. I've started collecting shows recently though, so I've been fortunate not to have shows I have bootlegged released. But if you don't like it, don't buy it. It is that simple. But I'm glad DMB is doing the Live Trax thing.
