Trace Bundy question

The harmonics that i am unsure of that trace does happen in dueling ninjas. He simply touches the strings w his right index finger around the (23) fret and creates a harmonic. I dont know how to get sound simply by touching the string w a finger. he is touching open strings and creating a harmonic w his right finger by touching the string at the imaginary 23 fret. Not picking anything, just touching his right finger to the open string. WHos got it?????\

(Called pinch harmonics? Or maybe that's something different.) He does that technique at the beginning and end of "Stone's Serenade" too.

That is what he is doing.

Try practicing it at the 12th fret to get it down (don't even fret anything at the beginning). Start off with your index finger of your right hand at about a 45 degree angle to the fretboard and rest the tip of your finger on the string above the 12th fret. Rest your thumb behind it (closer to the bridge) on the string somewhere.

Pluck perpendicular to the direction of the strings with the very tip of your thumb and as soon as the string starts to sound lift your whole hand away from the fretboard. Fine tune your index location above the 12th fret to find where on your guitar it sounds the best. Being slightly in the wrong spot will keep it from ringing.

Start out slowly just on the open strings, 12th fret. Hope that explanation made sense.

What wrong w asking if he is gay. Have you seen the dvd? I have showed about 10 different people the dvd, and just about all of them asked if he was. i corresponded with him for about 6 months and can assure you he is not gay or close to it
