I don't want Butch to be an official member of the band. He's cool for live shows and guest spots on an album, but when I think about DMB I just can't picture him in there.

Ah come on. What is DMB without him? He rounds out their sound so nicely. And without him there would be no time of the season.

i didnt sign the petition because i dont think it would be right if he was official...i cant picture them touring without him because he adds so much to them and he really never screws up and can just improvise anything.

but when i think of dmb i think of the 5 and not butch nesecarily

Obviously he is very important to the live show and can have his moments in the studio (BTCS), but when I think about the DMB posters and stuff I have in my room I can't picture him on there.

dmb anounced awhile back that he is an unofficial member, because they want to make him an official member but RCA wont sign him under the band, and i dont think butch really wants to be signed under, but they said consider him a member, becuase they do.

Where's the petition for you people to get lives? (Not you C-tieze)

Don't you realize Butch being a member of DMB is completely out of your hands & they don't give a shit about what a bunch of teenagers think?

It is out of our hands but you don't have to be a dick to these guys. Let em live their pipe dream. Let them see that, years down the road, that their petition didn't matter. Then they will realize that they wasted their time filling out something that they had no control over anyway, then as the epiphany springs over them, they realize that they control NOTHING! They then begin to sulk, mope and whine about how life isn't fair. They wish to be 16 again to be carefree and fancyfree and deoderant free. Skipping through the flowered meadows, barefoot, while holding hands with the only girl they will ever love. Then they crash back hard into reality and realize that girl is now 300 lbs and has 7 kids, that meadow is now a strip mall and the fry cooker has been beeping for 7 minutes now.
Give a woman an inch and she'll take a foot. Give a woman a foot and she'll moan like a whore

Jellyfish you do realize that it wasn't anybody from the boards who started this petition, right? Because your making it sound like we actually took the time make this.
