Doesn't Some Devil seem like a waste of good songs?

i think the greater waste of songs is stand up, not some devil. listening to the cd they come off as overproduced, unenergetic and passive. however, it is pretty much impossible for the full band to play some devil songs because the way they were written are not meant for their sound. they are great songs for dave and tim and dave and friends, because well, that's how they were recorded, as a dave and friends albums, more or less. but back to stand up, they are so much better as live songs, they should just re-release stand up as a live compilations. in fact, i think that as a community, live versions of songs should be nominated, and then a comp should be made of the best versions. and that should replace stand up.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

i know what you mean... i listen to SD sometimes and there are alot of amazing songs like stay or leave and its a shame you dont get to hear em love often because songs like that kick the shit out of some of the SU songs.
