Alpine Valley Campers

Unread post by mlb1399 » Mon Jun 27, 2005 9:57 am

For those of you who have camped at the Alpine Valley concerts, can you give a brother some advice?

What are the name of the campsites?
Costs?
Do a lot of people camp there?
How far away from the concert?

Anything else I should know?

Try Bong and Kettle Moraine, specifically, as those are quite close to Alpine.

You may also want to check out:

1) Country View Campground
2) Hoppe Homestead

Both places are within 15-20 minutes of the parking lot entrance. Country view is a nice campground, more family oriented. They have private sites and usually have a section reserved for concert goers. The Walworth County Sherriffs like to drive through about 1am to quiet the place down.
Hoppe Homestead is just a big field with nothing but concert campers, pretty much a big party. So if you're looking for no hastle from the po-po, it's a good place to go. Good luck!!
