There's no way to answer this question. Peter wanted his own career, and granted he's not making as much $$$ or achieving a great deal of fame as DMB is, these things may not be as important to him.

I think he's hanging in a closet somewhere.


why doesnt anyone go to antsmarching.org, look up the date of the van rypers fest, and see whothe hell the piano player was?

We did this already, the video contradicts what's on Ants and the almanac.

It is Peter Griesar in the Van Rypers video. If you read my post above the reason there is no guest listed on any on those websites setlists is because Peter isn't a guest he was a band member. So if it was somebody else then they would have been listed as a guest.

Ok I just went back and watched the Van Rypers video again and before Watchtower Dave introduces each member of the band and says that's Peter Greisar on the keys. So there we go, end of debate.

I've actually never had the opportunity to watch more than the 1 vid from Van Rypers, thanks though for clearing this up once and for all.
